Steppenwolf 7

First released in 1970 on Dunhill Records this album still rocks with the best of them.
John Kay's distinctive vocals and harmonica playing added to Larry Byrom on lead guitar, Jerry Edmunton on drums, Goldie McJohn on keyboards, and George Biondo on bass is a sound that is as interesting today as it was 35 plus years ago. When you haven't listened to it for awhile and get it out you are always rewarded with a listening experience that makes you want to listen to it again and again.
If you've never listened to this album, may arguably be the best album the band ever recorded, you are in for an audio treat. From the edgy "Ball Crusher" cut through "Forty Days and Forty Nights" and the raccaous "Who Needs Ya'" you will not be disappointed.
